Now in its fourth year, the Global RPO Report is an annual survey of more than 500 senior HR leaders. Produced in conjunction with HR.com, HR Executive magazine and the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA), the Report gauges perspectives on recruiting challenges, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) adoption, as well as priorities and expectations of global talent management practitioners.
Findings from the 2011 edition of the Global RPO Report include:
The issue of skills shortages remains an enduring problem, in spite of high levels of unemployment across many economies
A total of 94 percent of respondents plan to hire permanent staff in 2011, down marginally from 2010.
Graduate employment will remain relatively buoyant, with 83 percent planning to hire staff, virtually the same level as in 2010.
Organisations in APAC are more likely to use recruiters than their counterparts in EMEA and the Americas.
In deciding whether to outsource, the critical outcomes for business are “faster time to hire”, and “lower cost of recruitment”.
