Our client acquired a large pharma business and was going through complex internal change. They were looking for a partner who could reimagine recruitment processes and engage highly specialized, highly skilled talent.

We brought together an expert team of life sciences recruiters and sourcing specialists, supported by innovative tech tools, to deliver a high-touch recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) solution.

An evolving RPO partnership.

We had previously delivered project RPO support to this global life sciences organization, but when they acquired a large pharma company, our relationship evolved to offer more specialized and consultative support. They needed an RPO partner with the depth of expertise and market knowledge to engage highly skilled R&D talent, alongside the agility to flex up and down quickly. Our RPO team supports their largest site in North America, along with several smaller locations. We provided onsite support for hiring managers and candidates throughout the engagement and hiring process. Though this support became remote during the pandemic, we continue to work closely with the client’s team and provide expert insights on recruitment processes and strategy. Over the last two years, we have grown from expert vendors to consultative talent advisors.

Requisition volumes fluctuate quickly inside our client’s organization and across sites. We provide nimble and flexible support that can scale up or down quickly to meet their changing needs. As the client experienced organization-wide change, we reimagined and upgraded our recruitment processes and team structure to support their shifting needs. Our expert recruiters, sourcers, and operational specialists helped the business to bridge the gap between the merged organizations and ensured they could always access great R&D talent quickly. We created updated work instructions and delivered hiring manager and recruiter training to maintain exceptional service and efficient processes under the new infrastructure. We have also updated weekly and monthly reporting.

Introducing new technology.

We are always looking for new ways to add value to the solution. To support ongoing improvement, we introduced several technology tools to enhance the client’s internal systems, including a video messaging system for our Coordination team and Avature to build robust talent pipelines. We are currently exploring new ways that AI may be able to add value to the client’s recruitment processes.
