Cherice Schmidt

Cherice is a creative leader who is committed to designing and supporting superior Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solutions. She leads a global team, providing product, account management, and operational delivery oversight for RPO offerings across KellyOCG. Her broad experience in the talent industry, combined with a skill for bringing ideas to life, has helped her team create industry-leading RPO programs with a people-first approach tailored to an organization’s unique talent needs.

Cherice’s passion for working with people began in college. After graduation, she discovered the talent industry and a career that offered the chance to make a positive difference in people’s lives. She went on to earn an MBA and worked with one of the early creators of RPO solutions. Cherice has held several prominent talent leadership roles, joining Kelly in 2016 as RPO Practice Lead in the Americas before moving into her current global role.

She’s still driven by the excitement and pride she felt when placing her first-ever hire—a  feeling that inspires her positive and encouraging leadership style. Cherice is known for bringing new solutions to the market and helping organizations solve their complex recruitment and workforce challenges. These successes continue to shape her approach to customer service and delivery.

Cherice leads by example, always doing the right thing by her clients and team. She takes pride in helping others grow their careers and regularly promotes her team’s skills and achievements. She believes surrounding herself with great people is key to her ongoing success.

When she’s not at work, Cherice spends time with her family, cooking healthy (but delicious) meals and keeping active. In her downtime, she heads to the beach to paddleboard, and enjoys reading and catching up on her favorite TV shows.

Cherice specializes in a range of key areas—including contingent workforce management solutions, relationship management, supply chain management, recruitment process outsourcing, product development, organizational management, and leadership.
