KellyOCG Malaysia Earns Great Workplace Certification by Focusing on Employees’ Well Being
KellyOCG Malaysia doesn’t just talk about the importance of employee well-being, they take action. With many employees under varying degrees of Movement Control Orders for an extended time during the pandemic, KellyOCG Malaysia knew it was critical to engage workers and prioritise their well-being. In return, employees helped the business thrive and earn its first great workplace certification by the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global research and consulting company.
“Taking care of our employees and keeping them engaged in a fully virtual work environment is going to be critical well into the future. We have focused on communication, employee recognition, used third-party resources to support employees, and sent care packages to their homes to name a few of the initiatives,” said Pete Hamilton, VP and regional director, APAC KellyOCG. “This certification is a testament to the efforts of our leadership team and all employees who kept morale and engagement high despite being apart for most of the past year.”
Each year, more than 1,000 organisations apply for the certification and a minimum score is needed for the anonymous employee survey known as the Trust Index©, to be certified. The Trust Index© measures the quality of the employee experience in the areas of management credibility, respect for people, workplace fairness, pride, and camaraderie and we are proud that KellyOCG Malaysia received over and above the minimum score to achieve certification by The Great Place to Work® Institute.
At KellyOCG Malaysia, we value our employees and will continue to prioritise their well-being and focus on engagement, which are key to attraction, retention and delivering superior customer service.
